This tiny treasure trove is nestled into a sweet little shop just off North Main Street . . . one block from the Main Street/Innes Street 'Square'.  Filled to the brim with art and collectibles, the stock ever-changes as curator and local artist Clyde scours the area for the best and most interesting pieces. The Salisbury Emporium, opened in 1993, is a collection of more than eighty-five shops and galleries located in the historic Overman-Frick Building adjacent to the iconic Salisbury Train Station. Since before World War I the Frick Company supplied sawmills, steam engines, threshers, tractors, and heavy farm equipment to Rowan County and surrounding rural areas from this building. The 15,000 square foot, 100 year old brick warehouse has been renovated and developed as retail space. Now ~  The Salisbury Emporium supplies antiques, home accessories, furniture, fine art, gifts, railroad items, military relics, books, pottery and much more from this vintage circa 1905 building, directly across the street from the popular Lee Street Theatre.

Priscilla Clark is a Certified Interior Designer hailing originally from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She studied Interior Design at Dawson College in Montreal Quebec, and is a graduate of the Residential Interiors program at the University of Alberta. A former visual artist and fashion designer, Priscilla has worked as an interior designer at several independent design studios over the years, and was most recently the principal designer at Modern Relic Designs in Edmonton, Alberta. She is now the principal designer at Priscilla Clark Designs, an interior design and home décor retail shop.

A self-confessed old house nut, Priscilla has rehabilitated several historic homes, and her most recent project has been the circa 1915 Ovella White-Burton house on Wiley Avenue in Salisbury, North Carolina where she currently resides. 

Priscilla loves and practices all styles and genres of Interior Design, specializing in historic preservation and making old homes beautiful!  Her shop on W. Innes Street in Salisbury, North Carolina offers color consults, space planning, furniture and accessory sourcing and placement, home renovation, finish selections, and much, MUCH more!
