Spencer NC Gets HUGE Revitalization Grant! Live in Spencer! Buy/Sell with Salisbury Real Estate LLC!

Big news is on the horizon for The Town of Spencer, North Carolina!

Home of the North Carolina Transportation Museum, Spencer NC is a recipient of an award in the amount of $900,000, from the Rural Transformation Grant Fund. funded by the federal American Rescue Plan. Spencer is one of 15 communities receiving funding in the Downtown Revitalization Category. The Town’s application was part of a strategy to assemble funding for their proposed central Town Park.

Spencer NC is also home to the nation's largest contiguous historic district, with neighborhoods filled with beautiful homes ranging from the late 1800s through the early 1940s.  Tree-lined streets, a library park, and more make Spencer a special place to be in central North Carolina.

Realtor® Greg Rapp just sold this vintage circa 1928 bungalow ~ FILLED with original period details. Original shiplap and beadboard walls, an amazing butler's pantry with a wall of built-ins in a sweet little breakfast room, and more built-in shelves, drawers, and closets than you'd expect in a home of this era . . . each cedar-lined! Claw-foot tubs?  YES! Honeycomb tile work? YES!!  All the vintage details one seeks and loves in an older home!

Spencer is blossoming!  And a vintage home here will cost a buyer MUCH less than a similar home in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area...we are talking HUGE savings.

Get the quality, character, and charisma of a historic home and keep some cash in your bank account...by calling Greg Rapp with Salisbury Real Estate LLC: 704.213.6846Greg is the area's expert on vintage and historic houses and properties and can help you maneuver the intricacies of purchasing an older home.  Let's do this!
